With six participants on the chopping block and two saved individuals due to unique circumstances, Gran Hermano’s elimination gala took a thrilling turn last Sunday. In a surprising twist, no one got eliminated, but the night kicked off with an expulsion – a contestant had to leave the house through the revolving door introduced this season for such cases or voluntary exits.
The ousted individual turned out to be Bati, a former participant who re-entered the group of eight on Wednesday to campaign from within for one of the finalists. Unfortunately, Bati’s loose lips about outside information prompted GH to swiftly remove him without even allowing him to pack his bags. As a consequence of her companion’s actions impacting “her player,
” Eugenia faced sanctions according to the rules. This meant she would be sidelined from participating in future leader challenges if she stayed in the game. Furthermore, her vote on Wednesday at the confessional would only count as one point.
Following this initial shake-up, tensions ran high in the house as alliances became more pronounced than ever before. Selva and Eugenia pulled in one direction while Sandra and Katia leaned towards another. Meanwhile, Luz and Tato preferred staying out of conflicts altogether. Ulises and Juan Pablo seemed ambiguous about their allegiances.
