Aguas Andinas returns to Chile market with ESG bond

The company issued the new inflation-linked 2046 notes at a fixed rate of 3.19%, equal to a spread of 79 basis points, it said Thursday in a press release. The deal was 1.7 times oversubscribed. Aguas Andinas said it intends to use the proceeds to fund ESG investments and pay down short-term debt. The company last issued bonds in the local market in March 2019 when it printed UF2.5 million worth of 25-year notes to pay off debt and fund investments, according to its website.
