Baseball Dodger Stadium to Host Donation Event to Benefit Victims of Los Angeles Wildfires by Latino Sports January 16, 2025 Players from the Dodgers, Galaxy, Kings and Sparks will be in attendance The Los Angeles Dodgers, in conjunction with 11 other professional sports organizations in Los Angeles, will come together to host a donation event to benefit recent victims of this month’s Los Angeles wildfires tomorrow, January 17. There will be three host sites evacuees may visit, including Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium and BMO Stadium. Image Credit: MLB Image Credit: MLB The Dodger Stadium event will feature players and volunteers from the Dodgers, Galaxy, Kings and Sparks organizations, with a variety of donation items from contributing sponsorship groups. Those in attendance will have the opportunity to collect essential items including apparel, shoes, hygiene kits, school supplies and food. The Dodgers and Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation are providing transportation to and from evacuation sites and Los Angeles County Care Camps for over 800 individuals. Individuals and families will have the chance to visit multiple clothing and shoe booths while at the donation event at Dodger Stadium. More than $3 million worth of merchandise will be available in both children and adult sizes from Fanatics and the Fanatics Foundation to help those who have been displaced by the wildfires, and Los Angeles sports team gear will be donated by New Era. The Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation will also supply athletic apparel and N95 masks. Comfort items such as blankets from Local 300 and shirts, bags and school supplies will be provided by ANA to help students continue their school year. Families may pick up dog and cat meal topper treats from Churu INABA to treat their beloved pets. Several Dodger players along with other LA athletes will be in attendance for an event at Dodger Stadium to benefit those impacted from the LA Wildfires – Image Credit: Emma Sharon/Latino Sports Take away food and drink options will be available, including kettle corn and clean snacks from Melissa’s Produce, smartwater from the Coca-Cola Company and Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling, Yakult probiotic milk drinks, Health-Ade Kombucha and PRIME hydration bottles. Vouchers for free meals at select Panda Express locations will also be passed out. Kings Hawaiian will provide a variety of products to take away for families to enjoy, including hamburger buns, rolls and pretzel bites. N95 masks and hand sanitizer bottles will be donated by UCLA Health and Bank of America. Baby2Baby, the national nonprofit that has already distributed over 4 million emergency supplies to children who have been impacted by the fires, will be on-site to provide hundreds of thousands of critical items to children and families including hygiene kits (comprised of shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothbrushes, toothpaste and masks), diapers, formula, socks, comfort items, warm coats, toys, duffel bags, blankets and food. Lunch will be provided to individuals and families at each stadium event. Earlier this week, the 12 professional teams in Los Angeles announced a combined donation of more than $8 million to support victims of the wildfires in the surrounding areas and those fighting the fires. American Red Cross , Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation , Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund , World Central Kitchen , California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund , Team Rubicon and various local animal rescue organizations will also receive donations to aid the recovery effort.
